Salamatu Jagitay a brilliant student of the Institute of Public Administration and Management has scripted a new history in the archives by becoming the first female student union president in the University.
Salamatu who is also known as “political Jackie Chan” won the election with a landslide victory after she had 245 votes which make 72 percent of the overall votes and she was pronounced the winner on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022.
She was awarded as the most influential student of 2021/2022 by the Student’s Union Body.
