With support from Plan International Sierra Leone, Patriots Against Corruption SL successfully organized the “National Peace Conference and Award Ceremony” at the Atlantic View Hotel, Freetown City Council. This event received support from various partners, including The 2 Margarets’ Bridal Palour, Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Anti-Corruption Commission, National Revenue Authority, and other nation-building institutions. They played a crucial role in the Launch Ceremony of this year’s National Peace Conference and Awards Ceremony.
Prominent change makers were invited to participate in the event, including the Country Director of Plan International, who delivered a keynote speech, Margaret Murray Esquire, who gave a guest speech, Madam Daphne Kema Macauley, Mrs. Kezia Salankole, and Edwin Edwin Nyamoh Jr., who hosted the event.
The program primarily focused on harnessing national peace, particularly among the youth, considering the upcoming elections. This initiative holds immense significance as it aims to foster peace and stability within the country.
