Yulisa Ahmadu love for watches started from that stage and it never really faded away. It gradually became a style, a habit, a lifestyle, and now a business as an entrepreneur.
For Him, the wristwatch was never just a fashion accessory, it was more of a tradition, something that held more meaning – an item that was meant to last for years.
In 2020, when he relocated to California, the USA from Sierra Leone, he decided to put the dream of designing his own watches that reflect his sense of style and a special luxury trend for gentlemen and ladies alike. So, he decided to take the entrepreneurial route, and now he’s here as Yulisa & Co.
The watches are made from the purest gold from his homeland, Sierra Leone. Watches aren’t just an accessory, they are an heirloom, an identity, and of course, they are a time-telling tool. That’s why they have been one of the most important accessories throughout history. Born in Taiama, Southern Sierra Leone. Yulisa Ahmadu grew up in Serekunda, Banjul the Gambia. He is a highly motivated Youth and influencer in Sierra Leone. Yulisa redefines counseling and relationship advice through his social media platform and radio show. He is a Digital Marketing Professional and a communications expert.
Yulisa Ahmadu is a recipient of the 50 Most Influential Young Sierra Leoneans Award an honorary recognition from the Institute of Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone. He’s a Highly Respected Youth and Motivational speaker who was also recently honored by the Ministry of Youths and a Non-Profit Youth Organization as ‘Youth Ambassador’ in Sierra Leone for outstanding contributions in promoting Youth affairs in Sierra Leone. Yulisa Ahmadu has a wealth of experience of over 10 Years as a broadcasting personality on various shows and radios including AIRadio (Afri Radio), Star Radio, AYV to name a few.
With an extensive background in digital content production, strategic communications, and marketing, Yulisa Ahmadu also worked for Sierra Leone’s leading mobile network, Orange Mobile Company as Digital Communications Manager in charge of Digital PR and E-Reputation Management, Corporate Branding, Communication Strategy, Sponsorship and advertising ( for 6 years).
Touched by the spate of youth unemployment in Sierra Leone, Yulisa Ahmadu co-founded (in partnership with Emmerson Bockarie), Sugar Entertainment SL Ltd, the nation’s top Music, and Multimedia company. The goal is to capacitate Sierra Leonean talents to maximize their talents and monetize their craft through music. He serves as President of the company and Manager of its lead Artist and CEO Emmerson Bockarie. Where Emmerson’s music has been globally accepted and regarded as a huge influence in the Sierra Leonean Socio-Political landscape.
