Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce is Sierra Leonean born film producer, director, actor, manager, founder and CEO of Archie-Pearce Production Ltd registered in the United Kingdom. The  Archie-Pearce Production Ltd is an accredited UK based private limited film Production Company instituted and registered in England and Wales (with registration No: 8672246). The company has achieved very high success with past movie projects and has gained recognition for ‘superior quality and excellence’ in movie production.

Amb Collins Archie- Pearce was born in Freetown, he left for the UK in the early 90s. He furthered his education at Croydon College where he studied Business Management and graduated in March 2008.

He started his career as an actor in the late 90s and was later trained by the British Film Institute (BFI) where he developed his Acting & Directing skills. He has been featured in over 50 Nollywood movies in both UK and Africa.

Amb Collins Archie- Pearce was awarded as Sierra Leonean Diaspora Movie Ambassadorby Diaspora Focus organization in Sierra Leone and also Africa’s Best Cross Over Artiste Ambassador by Magic Lens Organization in Nigeria. 

Amb Collins Archie- Pearce has proudly produced over seven international acclaimed Sierra Leonean films and a couple of those films are being shown on IROKOtv and major airlines across the globe.

These films include: Ibu in Sierra Leone’, ‘Devil in Freetown’, ‘I Can’t get you off my mind’, ‘Flight 442’ ‘The British Expert’, ‘Banjul my love’, ‘Transform’, and Co-produced ‘The Menace’, ‘Broken Cross’, ‘The Soul’, etc. Most of these films were shot in The UK, The Gambia, USA, and Sierra Leone.

In 2014, Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce in his quest to improve Sierra Leone film industry, surprisingly invited four Sierra Leonean actors and film producers (from Sierra Leone) to the UK to attend an acting & film production training session organized by the British Film Institute” (FBI) and to subsequently feature in one of his film productions titled Flight 442.

In 2015, Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce further invited four more Sierra Leonean Actors and film producers to the UK, to associate with other actors & film producers (in the UK), thereby given them an opportunity to enhance their film producing and acting skills.

Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce insisted that he will never stop doing what he is doing until Sierra Leone is globally recognized and secure a space on the map of entertainment. He has attended over 50 Television interviews in the UK and other countries in relation to his Sierra Leone film production business and in all of those interviews, he has always spoken highly of Sierra Leone and encourages the listeners to support Sierra Leone films/ entertainment sector.

Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce is not only a Sierra Leonean film Producer and Director, but also a world-class Actor and has been featured in several Nollywood and Sierra Leonean films both in the UK and Africa. Collins Archie-Pearce worked for London Underground Ltd for the past 23 years as a Senior Manager at Elephant & Castle on the Bakerloo line.

Through his movie production registered in the UK, he has built a great portfolio, thereby managing most of the top Nollywood actors including Patience Ozorkwo, Desmond Elliott, Van Vicker, Mike Ezuroenye, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), John Okafor (Mr. Ibu), Kenneth Okonkwo, John Domelo, Alex Ekubo, Nino Bolanle, Gifty Powers, Chinese Wilfred, Okey Bakassi, Ali Nuhu, Lanre Balogun, Anthony Monjero, Victoria Inyama, Atto Erick, Ifunaya Igwe, Adaeze Ngozi, Chinwe Owoh, Bob Manuel, Charles Awurum, KSB, Joannes May, Daniel K Daniel, Prince David Osei, and many more.

Q. What sort of character do you like playing and why?

“I would first of all like to say that I could play any character that I’m cast for. I like playing the “Loverboy” character. The reason being that such character depicts my ability to switch emotions and reveals my versatility.”

Q. If someone was going to make your life into a movie, who would you suggest to play you?

 “I would suggest someone who is a high profile actor and shares some facial resemblance with the help of makeup.” 

Q. When did you act your first movie and what is its title?

 “I was featured in my first film in 2006 and it’s titled “Everyday life.”

Q. What’s your favorite movie you have acted and why?

 “My favorite movie I’ve acted in is “Banjul my Love”. Reason being that it reveals a different part of me with so many emotions.”

Q. What are some of the actors or actresses you have acted with?

“Some of the Actors I’ve acted with include: Omotola Jalade, John Okafor (aka Mr. Ibu), Kenneth Okonkwo, Zack Orji, Van Vicker, John Domelo, Nino Bolanle, Chinese Wilfred, Chinwe Owoh, Lanre Balogun, Ifunanya Igwe, Jimmy Bangura, Desmond Finney, Adeyemi Lardner, T.J. Q. How is your perfect Sunday afternoon look like?

 “Sunday afternoon is my best day. It’s very peaceful and blessed.”

Q. When you have a five-minute break during rehearsal, what do you spend that time doing?

“Rehearsing my scripts and using the gents, if I need to.”

Q. What do you do when you are not into filming activities?

“I have a full-time job and also own a production company, so if I’m not on set, I spend my time doing other stuff relating to my main job or Production Company.”

Q. Which male actor in or out of Sierra Leone would you like to act with and why?

 “Idris Elba. He is a British and Hollywood actor and my dream has been to feature in a big Hollywood film.”

Q. If you are given an opportunity to change two things in the Sierra Leone movie industry what would they be?

 “The two things I would change are: The process of film making and distribution, the manner in which actors are cast for major roles.”

Q. What is your message to your fans?

“Please take your career seriously and ensure you hone your craft.

Take every task you’re given seriously and deliver to the best of your ability. Respect those who’ve been there before you and when you are at the top, please remember to be humble. Be honest and protect your integrity at all times.”
