Ferdos Abdulkader qualified as one of the 184 recipients of the University of Colorado School of Medicine scholarship.

There were over 10,713 applicants for the scholarship.

 

In the course of her undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Ferdos Abdulkader who happens to be an immigrant to the United States made it to the dean’s list.

She completed her premedical studies in kinesiology and graduated in the top 20% of her class of 2020.

 

Ferdos is presently pursuing her dream of becoming a medical doctor by enrolling at the University of Colorado in the USA. The brilliant lady posted the news on her LinkedIn account.

 

“Proud to announce I will be attending the University of Colorado school of medicine on a full ride scholarship! 10,897 applicants and only 184 spots and I was blessed to land as one of them,” she wrote.

 

Ferdos also thanked her friends, family and mentors for helping her throughout her academic journey. “Thankful for all my friends family and mentors who have helped me get here. Thankful for my mothers prayers. Dr. Abdulkader loading,” she said.
