Popular Afropop Singer, businessman, and Philanthropist Nasser Ayoub showed up at the African Radio to sign up for audio Africa pay per stream platform expressing interest to premiere his new song titled ‘’Spartacus’’. Nasser Ayoub is a celebrated Sierra Leonean artist known for his popular songs Tranga Yase Borbor, Titi Hello, featuring Iyanya, losing it, featuring skales from Nigeria, and many more.

Talking about his inspiration for the song during the interview with him at the African Radio with Valerie, the Vice President of Communication, and Edward Bassie Conteh, the audiofrica Manager. He said ‘’ if you have watched Spartacus, you will realize that Spartacus did not die amidst the many battles he fought, Spartacus is a great fighter, I believe we are fighters in our own ways, musically, entertainment-wise and many more. I wanted something different, something  Afrobeat that my fans will dance to’’

 

Techfrica head Office that deals with everything entertainment were pleased to have Nasser Ayoub premiere his song on their platform. Disclosing to the Radio host and Salone Messenger on why he chooses Techfrica he said

‘’ We as artists don’t earn from our songs, we upload songs on other platforms and before you know it, it is all over WhatsApp group without earning money from it, I am convinced that with your platform, I and many other Sierra Leoneans will start earning from it and knowing fully well that is our own, created by our own. The more people stream, listen to my songs on your platform, I make money. I feel music is business and our easy way to make money is here and we should embrace it. This is why I am subscribing to your platform premiering this song that is very close to my heart tilted ‘’Spartacus’’ I have never worked with you guys before, I do know about what you guys are capable of doing,  I have been following your work over the years, I feel this is the right time to work with you and felt premiering this song on a platform created by a Sierra Leonean is huge opportunity for every Sierra Leonean to embrace

During an interview with the founder of Techfrica this morning about Nasser’s interest in working with audiofrica, he said. ‘’ We have been very supportive to pushing Nasser Ayoub music carrier over the years, before this time, when I open the Africa Radio platform in the United States of America to promote and give visibility to African artists in the diaspora, Nasser was among the many artists we promoted his songs on our platform, I am happy and look forward to what this contract holds for us. Biography

Nasser F Ayoub is a Lebanese/Sierra Leonean musician and businessman who hails from Kono, Easter Province. Nasser was born in Sefadu. He is well known for his single ‘Tranga Yais Borbor’. Nasser however burst into the music industry with a single in collaboration with Daddy Saj called One Love. As a member of the Lebanese/Sierra Leonean community, Nasser is also a businessman. He runs Hotel Africanus and the Nasser Ayoub Foriegn Exchange Bureau. Apart from beign a musician himself, Nasser has been actively helping to promote Sierra Leonean music in the international scene while nationally use his fianacial funds to support young people in the entertainment industry. Nasser recently released a single titled, Keep The Faith, which was aired on the BBC during an interview with the artist. His song is aimed at instilling hope in the people of Sierra Leone during its fight against the deadly Ebola virus.

The Commonwealth supported the training for trainers programme with line ministries and youth stakeholders in which key, representatives of youth council, student union and civil society/private sector youth platforms were engaged and empowered in the effective engagement and inclusion of youth. Sallu is co-founder and Executive Director of the Salone Messenger, a global multimedia and public relations firm based In Sierra Leone. Sallu has worked on various developmental and policy issues such as Poverty, Climate Change, Human rights, Child Rights, Education, Health, Gender Equality, Civic Engagement, Government policies, Information Communication Technology for Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, and has also been contributing to various global events and advocacy campaigns. Sallu Kamuskay is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Salone Messenger, a global Multimedia and Public Relations Firm based in Sierra Leone with the latest news and information, on top stories, business, politics, entertainment, and more. Sallu is working with a leading technology company in Africa, Techfrica, that has recently developed and launched a social media, messaging Supfrica with over 150,000 downloads on the Google play store in less than 4 days. He is the Adviser and Media coordinator for the App to give people the platform to connect and communicate to help shape their future with a very fast internet that allows users that live in deprived and hard-to-reach areas with poor internet facility to be able to communicate as it allows and stronger on 2 and 3 G network reception. Sallu is currently the focal point and face of Africa’s Faces Social media platform which is a global Social media platform that brings together people from across the world to share their moments, connect, share videos, and interact with friends giving more preference to excluded continents like Africa. Sallu Kamuskay has devoted his time to working for or contributing to a number of national and international organizations and companies, including the Techfrica Technology Company, United Nations, ECOWAS, European Union, Commonwealth Africa Initiatives. This work has led him to travel to a number of countries to contribute to global youth platforms. Sallu is the lead Coordinator for Peace Tour programme, an initiative supported by the European Union, Africa Union, ECOWAS focusing on uniting and empowering young people and local communities. Over the years, Sallu Kamuskay has been using his Techno phone to be able to tell stories, the phone he used to tell the story of Gbessay during Ebola who was admitted at one of the Ebola treatment centers after rumors that she had Ebola when the actual sickness was ulcer, she was almost abandoned at the treatment canter with no medication provided to her. She could have died. Sallu told the story via social media and was able to secure funding from the United Sierra Leone to buy her medication and advocated for her. She was later discharged and taken home, He did the same to a patient that died and was abandoned in the street, Sallu Kamuskay used his phone and shared the message across, the corps was later taken and buried. He shared her sad story and was able to get a sister who has taken the child as her own and is currently providing her with educational support.
